Drama Teacher - Maternity Cover

We have an exciting opportunity for a Drama Teacher to join us. This is a full time position starting in September 2024 to cover maternity leave for one academic year.

The role 

As a Drama teacher you will join the Expressive Arts Faculty, and teach a full timetable of Drama lessons. Pupils at the Mount enjoy a wide range of exciting extra-curricular opportunities and the Expressive Arts Faculty are a key part of that element of the School. As such, it is expected that the ideal candidate has an integral role in the organisation and direction of whole school musical productions. With the support and trust of the senior leadership team and great facilities, the drama department enjoy small class sizes ensuring maximum participation, learning and creativity!

 

You

The ideal candidate will have a creative, positive and flexible approach to delivering the Drama syllabus and it is essential they are a drama specialist with the ability and experience of teaching key stages 3, 4 and 5. You must have qualified teacher status.

 

You will ideally have knowledge of the GCSE and A Level EDUQAS specifications, which will ensure you can hit the ground running when teaching our enthusiastic and talented pupils. Knowledge and experience of the Arts Award qualifications is also desirable, but not essential.

Job 2

Billings Officer

Title:                           Billing Officer

Salary:                        Competitive Salary

Hours:                        Part time, Flexible days, 52 weeks per year position.

 

Mount St Mary’s College and Barlborough Hall School are seeking a Billing Officer to take the lead in ensuring the school’s pupil billing systems and records are up to date whilst taking a proactive approach to credit control and reporting of issues. The Billing Officer will produce timely bills within set deadlines to ensure prompt payment of school fees each term. The role will also be the main point of contact for billing enquiries, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.   

 

We are looking for someone who has a real can-do attitude and is confident about gathering facts and statistics and undertaking financial calculations. Having excellent IT skills, with a specific focus on Excel and databases, you will have the ability and knowledge to produce reports and data in line with tight deadlines. This role is proactive and you will be required to analyse and interpret information in order to identify gaps in systems and provide solutions for improvement. With a flexible and adaptable approach to tasks, you will be involved in working with other departments to support the overall objectives of the school.  

 

You will need an eye for numerical and analytical detail and working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and financial reporting and independent school billing systems. Relevant experience of debtor management and working in a similar Finance position is essential. The role may suit candidates with a previous background in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.
