Old Mountaineers

Former pupils of both Barlborough Hall School and Mount St Mary’s College are known as Old Mountaineers. To become an Old Mountaineer (OM) is something very special.

OMs can be found the world over and share a common history, whether they left school more than 70 years ago, or last year. It is about more than shared history, as wonderful as that is.

Today, the College and  the Mount Association are pleased to work very closely together to ensure that OMs and the work of their forbearers remains as relevant and as important as ever. We love hearing about how OMs are now doing so please keep in touch with us and share your news.

We regularly welcome OMs to the College and to Barlborough Hall so they can look around, reminisce and share their memories with us. If you would also like to do so, please just give us a call so we know to expect you.

In the summer term, the Headmaster will be sending you the first termly newsletter update that is just for former pupils of Mount St Mary’s College. It is to be called “Blandyke”, which was a term used throughout college history to refer to a day’s holiday at the Mount! We would like to hear about you and your news so please send anything and everything you would like considering for publication to marketing@msmcollege.com and the first edition of Blandyke will be in your inboxes at the start of the summer term.

Enter your email address below if you're an OM and would like to subscribe to the Blandyke.

Thanks for subscribing!
