Students at Mount St Mary’s College have received excellent GCSE results this morning! Nearly 30% of all grades were at the top level of 9-7, and almost 90% of grades were at the standard measure of 9-4 - well above pre-pandemic levels.
There were some exceptional individual departmental performances, with 93% of all grades for English at 4 or better alongside 88% for Maths! Headmaster Dan Wright said: “Once again, the college has performed exceptionally well amidst a narrative of a return to 2019 performance levels - with our measures at grades 9-7, 9-5 and 9-4 outperforming pre-pandemic. Our students will be bursting with pride today!”
